There are steep hills and thick forestry which are nicely populated with a variety of snakes from your garden variety, to something
a bit larger (that is all of 10cm from my front door, and a
baby), to the
extremely deadly (had one of the second kind in the house previously, removing it was fun). On top of that, the surfaces are quite uneven and hard which plays havoc with my joints and has on occasion caused me serious injury.
The nearest park is, like I said, an investment of at least half an hour travelling.
