The EoFF in crowd
For many years I have been a member of this site, and not once have I considered the people of this site and how awesome it really is, to that end I just wanted to post this thread to let you people know how much I appreciate all you guys have done for this site, I feel my life is better for knowing you guys, when I came here I did not know the importance of good grammar and spelling and seeing how you guys post has brought up my estimation of the internet, all of you guys make me appreciate how intelligent and thoughtful you guys are.
A list of name I think of people who have made a difference not only to this site, but to my life, I will start with the staff of this site:
Loony BoB - What can I say, Daniel, long time you have been a member of this site, I feel Daniel is one of the most underrated members of this site, always there in the background, working hard, when I think of Daniel I honestly don't know what he does aside from lurking in the background, his little chocobo avatar and those eyes forever tormenting Bots and Idiots alike, been a member of this site since long before my time, hard working and honest, Daniel, you really ARE the man.
ShlupQuack - Now when I think of our dear shluppers I think she has to deal with alot of idiots and people making fun of her but I will lay this right out and say while she and Raistlin may but heads quite quite frequently, that she may be the butt of the occasional joke from time to time, she puts up with it with a stoic demeanour, like nothing can bring her down and she can take on the world with her army of blog posts and sound reasoning. Amanda, you really are awesome, never let anyone tell you otherwise.
Del Murder - What can I say, I have always looked up to Del as the Godfather of out little corner of the internet, his never changing sig and avatar, Del is Respect personified, a Legend in his own time, I don't know much of Del but from my dim corner of the world but from my limited perspective I have always perceived Del to the man who could keep his head cool no matter what crossed his path, stern but fair also, Del is no mans fool.
Psychotic - A fellow Paul, always there to jump in with some quip or another, EoFF's Wild Card, you never truly know what you will get whether is Serious Paul or Crazy Psychotic, never does he fail to part wisdom or humour, his posts are often epic and limit breaking worthy, not afraid to act like a joker if it gives the people of the forums a laugh or two.
Legendary G13 - Ah, one of my favourite members, Eric has often been one of the few "in crowd" that I have actually taken the time to get to know, everybody loves Eric (anyone who says otherwise is clearly delusional) one of my favourite writers and a damn fine man, when I think of Eric I think of how approachable he is, takes time to speak to random and strange people even though he knows next to nothing about them, a strong sense of justice is what I feel when I think of Eric, one of the best members on this site, no matter how new a member is to the site Eric will always be approachable to all, Eric my man, I salute you ^^.
Jiro - Ah Dak, young he may be but he has a heart of gold, a true friend, went MIA for quite a while and caused some of us to worry about him, yes its our own Chosen Dude, one of my best friends on the site, not afraid to tackle the lower forums and is quick to calm a heated situation before it gets out of control, and no few of us were very concerned when our lovely staff banned him for a few days as a practical joke, Dak my friend, don't ever leave this site, it just would not be the same without you
Wolf Kanno - What can I say imo Wolf is EoFF's shining star when it comes to combating lengthy theories about the most wild idea's concerning the Final Fantasy series, a gaming legend and a sound mind make Wolf one of the best reasoners this site has, always calm and collected and makes me think of how awesome his gaming knowledge really is.
Agent Proto - Jeff, EoFF's forum games master, always contriving of new and innovative ways to make the time here on the forums a whole lot of fun, I don't know what we would do with our spare time if it were not for a stream of forum games originating in Jeff's mind, he brings life to the place with he steady stream of forum games, Jeff my friend, you really make my boredom cease when you come up with dozens of ways to delight and entertain us.
And with our fantastic forum staff there are a few other members of this site I would like to thank.
Jentleness - What can I say, Jen really is my best friend, always there and ready to listen to any problem I have, is willing to put up with me complaining about my work and is ALWAYS ready to give her honest opinion, in Jen I think I have found a kindred spirit, so much do we share with our lives, honesty is in short supply in life incredibly more so when it comes to the internet as its SO easy to lie, she has helped me face some truths that a lesser friend would have run to the hills or pretended not to know me, she is my hero in every sense of the word. Jen, you really are one of the most amazing people I have ever had the great fortune to have known.
NorthenChaosGod - Our residentman, amusing and always ready to rep a post he deems worthy, EoFF's bad boy, whether its hitting on the new members of the site or
The Fresh Prince of Mel Air - Melly, and by extension Anya always ready to bring a smile to my face, has a long list of people whom she appreciates and isn't shy about letting other people knowis always ready to listen to problems and gives good advice when it comes to helping me make my sigs, EoFF's current chat queen and baby picture provider, little Anya always manages to bring a smile to my face when I see her pics in the the picture thread or when she talks to me via MSN Message for Anya: fbildsvn ksdl
You guys really make this site today what it is, and for that you have my eternal gratitude, you guys really are the best.
