Hello! It's already that time again. October brings us another exciting chapter in the Photo Competition game.

Our dear friend (read asshat) DemonDude won last month's competition with an adorable and very crisp picture of a dog. The theme was emotion, and his picture plucked on enough heartstrings to earn him the win.

Being the classy guy he is, he was soon banned for the typical behavior that always gets him banned (read brazen jackassery), but not before picking the theme for October.

The photo submission time will last from Oct. 1st until the 15th. Any other questions can probably be answered here. Good luck!

Yes, it's abstract. Whether that makes it very limiting or very open is up to you. Get creative.

Contest 5, being the honest contestant they are, has admitted that not the entire photo was taken before the theme was announced. All photos taken to change it, and all other manipulation was done afterwards. It doesn't quite fall into the rules, but they put a lot of effort into it.

So I leave it to you, the voters. If you think it's okay, vote for it. If not, don't. They already said it's not a big deal either way.

An interesting point to note is that our Beloved DD originally chose the theme "freedom" but swiftly changed it the moment he was banned, so to the winner of this months thread, as punishment we should use his idea just to smite him xD

I'll take a blurry photo of my dog. Dogs seem to have an advantage.

My dog is an idiot though, so maybe I get points for the meta "my dog's brain is distorted" too!

Two more entries! According to the times they were received in my inbox, they arrived before the deadline. Blurred double images and a play on perspective. Good stuff.

Ugh. Picking a favorite just got a lot harder. I'm waiting for the one contestant to tell me what they want to name their picture, and then I'll open up the polls. This was a good month!
