Dark Aeons

Hi guys
Apparently you can capture/ keep the Dark Aeons and use them after you have defeated them - is this true and how do you do this? Thanks

As far as I'm aware, it's not the Dark Aeons you're trying to capture. Defeating the Dark Aeons unlocks the chance to fight Penance, but otherwise I don't recall any capturing or using of them.

I am afraid you have been mislead, having done every single thing you can do in FFX I can definitely confirm that there is no way to capture/keep the Dark Aeons (or Penance for that matter either).
