I thought I knew how to do something as simple as that, but apparently I don't. Just by looking at it, it's an HP (Special Edition?). The sticker on the back says HP Pavilion dv6700 and somewhere else on that sticker it says dv6875se. Right clicking Computer and selecting properties tells me it is a Dell. That's all. Nothing about the specific model, it's just a Dell. Does HP make Dells? Does Dell make HPs? Or do I have a really fishy laptop here? I am very confused
