Don't know if this has ever been a thread but just wondering how many you can all come up with. This was a random conversation me and a few friends had at a pub on Saturday. So basically, all I'm gonna do is steal your suggestions, tell them to my friends and pass them off as my own ideas...

I'll give you a few examples...

Liver Phoenix - This is a sad story of an internal organ cut short in it's prime after a fatal overdose. It had a glittering film career with smashes such as "Stand Bile Me" and "My Own Private Dialysis". Phoenix had many interests including guitar playing, animal rights and producing biochemicals for digestion

Kidney Poitier - Another film actor/internal organ that has had great success in both amazingly poignant film roles and the purification of blood. An incredibly diverse career has led to many accolades including being the first internal organ to win an academy award back in 1963.
