Homosexuality in V?

I didn't think Faris' gender was a major spoiler.

I would like to point out though, that neither Galuf nor Bartz seemed suprised by their attraction to another "male." Have they realized something about themselves that we don't know yet?

Her sprite always looked female to me. The first time I played the game I was like, "Well...yeah."

The only thing that surprised me concerning her gender was that it was apparently supposed to be a secret.

If you listen closely you can hear a sigh of relief once they find out Faris's gender.

The funny thing though, is that they never actually realized that she was in fact a woman up until the scene in the ship graveyard or whatever, so when they were struck by her beauty in Tule they were still assuming it was a man.
Of course, you can find someone of the same gender pretty no matter what your sexuality is, but I always had the impression that they found a "guy" cute and just accepted it that way.
