Pro Mark tips are fat and gross and their X5B nylons are a terrible shape. If you're using something else then I have no idea.

I don't know that I ever commented on your sticks before. I just have some hate for Vic Firth since I've tried a couple of dozen different pairs and they all broke on me in a matter of days. Never broke a stick from any other company except Zildjian. I prefer Pro-Mark oaks when on my acoustic kit, Vater when playing hickory sticks on my electronic drums. I never used to use Vater, but my god do they just feel right in the hand. Very good sticks those.

Hmm, well I do violate my sticks and kit and vic firth tends to hold up well enough, and they're just so comfortable to me cause I've used them since I was tiny. But different strokes for different folks (like double stroke rolls! AMIRITE!?! Oh god I am a nerd >_<)
