It has its share of shopping plazas, sure, but they are all populated by little offices for Chiropractors and Geriatricians, obsessive workout Gyms, and the occasional Micky Dee. There are barely any groups of young people here or youth culture what so ever. Unless you count the zillion night clubs and strip clubs that pollute the place. Even those are filled with creepy old guys and woman. Especially if its South Florida we are talking about. All in all this is a place to retire when your rich and can afford to deal with the bordem. /rage
