I spent two days trying to explain to my ex why not everyone agrees on certain principles be believe in but that doesn't make them any less right. It was like explaining the controversy about homosexual marriage to a four-year-old.

Awareness is a state of being I am perpetually trying to impress upon people; nothing is more useful than possessing a mind which can absorb data and process it into information. When concepts are not easily extrapolated, I deign explanation because no one wants to be both in a conversation and in the dark.

Recently, I needed to walk someone through why they would not want to play with a laptop on an inflatable raft. Aside from the immediate danger of water, they had not quite figured that using a heat-generating device on vinyl-shelled air was a bad idea. After all, nothing else inflatable had met a nefarious end due to heat, right?
