^ The rumor is that when Rockstar decided not to make GTA IV a timed PS3 release, there was something in a contract somewhere that they had to do it with another title for Sony. They were going to do that with L.A. Noire once they bought the rights from Sony, but that didn't happen either. So they decided to make their own. It might just be vapourware, so they could say "we're fulfilling our contractual obligations."

I'd really like for another one outside the US, too. I mean the reason they keep satirizing America is because there's already so much source material to borrow from, with Goodfellas, Scarface, Boyz 'n the Hood, etc.

I remember when this generation was young and the rumors were floating around about the next Grand Theft Auto, it was thought because these consoles were so powerful, the next GTA would take place on the ENTIRE CONTINENT OF EUROPE!!! Not with every town and city done out, of course, but all kinds of crazy stuff like driving on the autobahn, or making deals at parisian restaurants at night, or starting world wars which cost millions of lives.

But somebody found if you turn the V upside down in the logo, it looks like an "Ace of Spades" type symbol, so with that and the money the new favored guess is Las Venturas.
