    Dancing Chocobo Sonic Generations

Welp, I was trying not to get excited about it, but then I saw this: Sonic Generations Video Game, Review | Video Clip | Game Trailers & Videos | GameTrailers.com

And now I keep throwing my wallet at the computer screen.

I'm going to be disappointed, aren't I? D: I can't help it; DAT CHEMICAL PLANT ZONE

I am excited for this one, so I am hoping it is better than the last bazillion.

-why I'm not planning on getting into any more reboots/rehashes/requels, etc.

I was interested but after playing a bunch of other, unrelated games that have had the same treatment... nah.

If the demo I played is any indication then yes. Yes you will be. It was absolutely horrible, and I didn't go in with very high expectations. Go play some Sonic 2 and Adventure I says.

It looks pretty good. I'm going to keep my eye out for it.

I don't know man, the reviews are coming in and they're not 9s and above, but they're really solid 7s and 8s. It could be pretty good! I'd say wait until the price comes down a little bit. Like I say, there's too many good games coming out to pay full price for each and every decent one that comes along.

Isn't 7 like the equivalent of a 1 or a 0? I mean, I can barely remember the last time a game scored a 6 or lower from most reviewers.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

I think 7 is a middle of the road title.
    Something like
    10 - God like
    9 - Excellent
    8 - Good
    7 - Average
    6 - Mediocre/Poor
    <6 - Terrible

Not only is the 6-10 rating scale not using the whole spectrum, it also isn't consistent across it's own length.

Where do you find these pictures?

Also, that's what happens when companies either game or outright buy reviews.

Lol yes, that usually is the case, but in this case the reviewers are surprisingly justifying why it's a solid 7 by recognizing the faults but talking about how great everything else is.

I totally agree with the graphic in Pike's post, though! Gaming journalism is in a bad place. I hate how most of them admit they're a glorified buyer's guide and not here to critique the merits and report on the truth. Modern journalism takes place behind a desk at a computer, it should be out there, talking to people.

You probably don't want to know how large my "4chan" folder is.

Sonic Generations is a pretty good game. I just beat it yesterday, and I must say that it was very enjoyable. Except for Seaside Hill, that place had a very frustrating modern Sonic level. *shudders*

I still want this but I think I'm going to wait for a Steam sale. I know it's not super expensive as is, but I'm just that broke.
