As you know, the resident asian or something, I am obligated to be good at karaoke. Sadly I am not, but that doesn't stop my family and so forth to be incredibly and utterly devoted to this awesome act. And so I am going to show you some pictures of what sort of tech I have to work with at home.
Here is a little toy of ours. All of the audio input goes in. The cables are fiber optic cables for maximum fidelity. I didn't believe it either but my dad goes and tells me he did it. I guess along with being super awesome it helps to have a parent who installs telecommunications cabling!

Here's a shot of the actual tv and surrounding peripherals, and two of the speakers for surround sound. There's....4 of them. The tv itself is nothing special - it's a LCD tv (I bought a LED tv in January - now that is cash). Okay really - the sound system is great. I was listening to Les Miserables on it the other month and squeeeeee~
Finally a shot of the microphone that we use.
But that wasn't the surprise. This is the surprise. I wonder what it is?

Although I don't think we need to give up on this altogether, why not do another solo round? Or just have more free-for-all rounds with no restriction. Those rounds are fun and as many people can get involved as possible since they aren't given specific songs to sing. *nod*
