I had Full Draconic Armor, 100 in both Smithing and Enchanting, 100 Conjuration, and around a 70 one Handed Skill, plus I was a Brenton with an Item that boosted my Magic Resistance even more.
Yeah, he was barely able to hurt me with any attacks on either fight with him.![]()
Necro, that video is freaking hilarious.
Looks like I'll be joining you lot soon. /smug
My funniest moment when I stepped out of the Mage's College to be accosted by some Hired Thugs. This confused me because I hadn't nicked anything to my recollection. So I did them in and found the contract note.
"Blah blah blah Daransa nicked me trout so go break her legs
- Bandit Outlaw"
I then remembered that I had, in sneaking around some fort or other, decided I'd pickpocket a little just to get a couple of cheap skill ups.![]()
VENDORS SHOULD HAVE MORE THAN 600 GOLD.
Other than that, does anyone have any suggestions how I can get my work, family, bills and natural biological need for sleep to all LEAVE ME ALONE so I can play more of this game?
When I fought Alduin the first time, I had 300 HP and about a total of 40% magical resistance through enchantments. His breath attacks still did about 170% if my max health in damage, so I'd have to use potions that would heal around 100% of my health - in the middle of the attack - just to survive at all.
Get the PC version! You can't kill and undress the children without mods! =(

...just so you know.![]()
Too late, he's already getting the 360 version.
I had about 300HP fighting Alduin the first time, but didn't really have a massive problem. Spellbreaker takes care of a lot of that. I also had some amulet that gave +30 to Health, Stamina and Magica. Dragonrend, as mentioned, stopped his flame attacks. Finally, my sword has two enchantments - one being Fiery Soul Trap (best thing ever) and the other being Absorb HP, so fighting him would regenerate my health.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
