Snow's Theme starting up was always the moment in FFXIII that I remembered that there is a pretty good soundtrack there. Most of the other music never really caught your attention when it was kicking off, but Snow's Theme would manage it. It's trickier these days for music to become noticeable and 'famous' amongst fans because people are generally too busy listening to the voice acting and sound effects which naturally have to be heard over the music. Particularly in the case of XIII where characters are talking even as you move around each area.

Haven't played the game yet, but I've listened to the soundtrack a thousand times. It is definitelly one of the best FF soundtracks to date. Hamauzu is my guru

I don't care what anyone says, Snow is a great character and this theme really fits him well. I have to disagree with you on one thing though, Psy. The melody has gotten stuck in my head before. Nice dubstep version as well, I like it more than I thought I would.

As much as I didn't particularly care for Snow's character and hardly ever had him in my party (he was a fairly one-dimensional Sentinel; for everything else, Fang was better), I definitely agree with this choice. Snow's theme is badass.

I haven't played FFXIII yet, but I have a good grasp of the characters' personalities. I never heard Snow's theme until now, but it's not bad. I would listen again and/or download it, lol. And it fits him, I think, unlike Yun Fang's theme, which didn't really fit her.

yea snow's theme is fun to listen to. not nearly as memorable as Aeris's or Terra's theme or Kuja's theme (just thinking of some off the top of my head) but still I enjoy listening to it while fighting battles. One of the more memorable tracks from FF13.

Snow's Theme is great. It's a shame FF has gotten away from character themes in general. Remember FFVI? Every character had their own specific and instantly recognizable theme. I loved that about FFVI, and I always like hearing character themes, good or bad. They give you a musical dimension to the character's role and personality. When a character doesn't have a theme, it just doesn't even feel like the game cares about them, like they aren't really a part of that game's world.

This song sorta starts out like the battle theme from FFX-2, 'least that's the impression that I always got. This soundtrack is catchy, but not in the memorable sense. I dunno, guess I've always been a fan of Nobuo.

I loved the soundtrack from Final Fantasy XIII myself, though I have Aeris' Theme as my picture ringtone...

Honestly, the piece that sticks out the most from Final Fantasy XIII is probably the Paradox Chocobo theme in XIII-2. Heavy metal? Really? Lol...

You're right about the driving part. Snow's song sounds like it belongs more in a Rad Racer Wii game than FF.
