The cast thing really bothers me, I really enjoyed the cast in FFXIII and I actually liked that they split up the party frequently in the early chapters because it gave the character development so much more impact (no one cares about the character who's brought to the brink of suicide unless you've used him to fight your way through some tough situations and let him grow on you). From what I can tell most people are the opposite and actually hated all those earlier chapters so maybe there's a method to what I think is SE's madness, but they're going to have to work hard to get me to like another ditsy school girl and another brooding, troubled warrior. Also, less lightning in the game is unforgivable.

Aside from that I'll probably still buy this game because I loved XIII and I'll go in with an open mind and hopefully it will be an enjoyable experience to play.

And the jump button sounds awesome
