in terms of free things to do, DC is pretty awesome. lots of museums, historically relevant places, a relatively large city. a variety of food is available. If you bring your ID you can see the arlington cemetary...

personally i'd vote that you go to DC. plus you can PM misfit and ask her to visit. though after dealing with me I doubt it.

I would do the hotel route in DC, but i have family in the area, so i'm staying with them

I just randomly popped on today and saw this, and I'm totally down. Depending on dates, I can make it work. I work in hotels and get a discount, so I'm good there.
