Welcome to EOFF, the oldest and greatest of all Final Fantasy Fansites. We would be very happy to have you join our site and so we have prepared this page as a place where some of the members of our site can tell you about EOFF.

I am the Hypoallergenic Cactuar, commonly known as HC, and the host for this event. I joined in April of 2010, and quickly came to find that the people here are very kind and genuinely care about the members. There are a lot of fun things to do here including events, riddles threads, and discussion about various games. We have Mafia games, tournaments, and our own awards ceremonies!

Please read on to hear from some of our members what they enjoy about EOFF, and why they joined.

uhhh well I'm Jiro and I joined back in like, '04, because EoFF had some pretty sweet images of chocobos. I also liked Final Fantasy and thought I was top trout when it came to playing them. I liked the riddle threads and the funny captions threads (we should do them again) and, in general, the lower fora were a pretty neat place.

Then somehow I ate the apple of eden and visited the General Fora and life were never the same.

I'm Pike, I joined in 2005 and I can't remember why! I think someone dragged me here or something. MILF maybe? I can't remember!

Anyways I'm actually a terrible member who does terrible things like mysteriously disappear for months at a time but I usually come crawling back.

Anyone who is looking for extra funtime fun should pop into our chatroom, as well!

I'm Bubbaforever and I'm a pretty new member of the forums. My main two reasons for joining are...

1) Big fan of the FF games I've played (VII, VIII, X & XII) and am keen to play the rest
2) It was the only forum I could find that I could access from work

It turns out that all the regulars (and irregulars!) on this site are a top bunch and I find myself on here more often than not. Especially as I've just started my first run of FFVI and everyone's been really helpful with hints and tips (whilst being careful not to reveal any spoilers!)

I'm also extremely anal about good punctuation, grammar and spelling which I'm pleased to say are of an exceptionally high standard here!

I've been a member since 2004. This is my internet home! I sometimes try to hide and run away from it but I always come back. My activity comes and goes in spurts. Sometimes I post in near every thread and then others I might only post once a week. But I'm always lurking.

I came here because I had an obsession with Final Fantasy IX and I recently bought it again (at that time) so I was looking for walkthroughs and help on stuff. Then I just... stayed. I've made friends here and even had a few relationships. It's been the bane of my existence, I am an EoFF addict.

I'm Wolf Kanno, I joined back in October of 2006, so about five years ago. I lost my original forum the Ethos Sanctuary and decided to move on to another gaming series I loved which was Final Fantasy. I stay for the arguments and the fact that my relation with the series is like a bad relationship your friends tell you to get out of. For the most part, I'm here to talk about FF and gaming so most people will only see me in the lower forums. The people I talk to are opinionated but fun to argue and debate with so its all good.

I joined in 2007 and throughout my tenure as forum idiot, everybody has hated me at least once, if not for the entirety of my membership. I've been banned a million times and this forum has crafted me into an entirely undesirable human being.

I've met some okay people, including a lady who thinks she's a robot and draws Mass Effect porn, some Aussie bloke who at one point I was conspiring to take over the world with, some racecar driving smurf who I pretend to hate, and a lady with a cherry on her tit.

Don't join.

Edit: Cheers, but I did used to be a fairly horrendous member. I found these as humorous examples of the general shared opinion.

Sure it is. I was the first to say you should be banned, although I said from EoFF itself

I've wasted almost ten years of my life on message boards thanks to this site. I probably would never have seen the appeal in them if not for the huge number of people with absurd amounts of knowledge who posted here. Nine and a half years later most of said people rarely post anymore and I barely feel like I know anyone, but there are still a lot of people with a lot of knowledge and I keep reading this board because of them. There are probably still lots of good times to be had here for people who aren't horribly jaded like I am, but even I still manage to find enough entertainment here to keep reading threads and making a few posts a week. Also I'm fairly sure I would have over ten thousand posts if they hadn't been pruned, which probably indicates that it managed to hold my interest for a fairly long period of time, although there are several other sites where I also have (or had) over ten thousand posts so I guess that's not that notable.

I also have never hated demondude and in fact I have no idea why he was ever even banned any of the times he was banned.
