    You are an amazing person.

I'd have preferred it without the lyrics actually, but whatyagonnadoTM.
I like that there's more than one chocobo theme, 3 that I've seen. Maybe more?

Yeah, a Golden Saucer like place has been hinted at, and "chocobucks" implies to me that this is where that is, so I think they have like a chocobo equivalent to monster truck rallies and that's why the lyrics are so over the top. Or maybe like, professional chocobo racing?

You better not be lying. FFXIII-2 is shaping up to be the FF FFXIII should have been.

Wrestling. I meant professional chocobo wrestling.

Why would Squenix do this? What a titty idea. This is smurfing hilarious, I can't stop laughing.

Here's footage of this embarrassing crap.

Oh god this is going to be even more misunderstood than the laughing scene, isn't it? I can just see it now, no one will see it for the kind of funny parody it is and think this is Uematsu's genuine attempt at a metal masterpiece.

I think it's hilarious because it's stupid as tit, regardless of the intentions.

But out of curiosity, what proof do you have that Square-Enix isn't trying to be badass/cool? What's the parody? I'm not saying it's an attempt at a masterpiece, but I don't see why they would incorporate this kind of stupid crap as a joke when most of the target audience probably isn't going to understand the humor.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to look at a chocobo without thinking of whether or not I'm bad enough to ride it.

I don't think it's hard to understand. "Ha ha! It is a song about how this cute fluffy bird is a bad ass out of hell."

I don't think the majority of the fanbase is going to assume that Square-Enix put this Limp Bizkit atrocity into the game as some sort of tongue-in-cheek joke. We might find it funny in that way, but I think a lot of people who are buying Final Fantasy games are children and less well-humored people. I think this is the same angle that was attempted when Rammstein was included in the Final Fantasy X soundtrack. Like, trying to be relatable. Young people like rap-rock/nu-metal and cheap death metal. They even tried introducing a black guy in Final Fantasy VII and I can't think of a single aspect of Barret's character that isn't a ham-fisted racial slur in some manner.

I'm still convinced that the company has no idea what they're doing.

But Rammstein was not in FFX. Uematsu composed that and some guy named Bill Muir, a man from a straight edge bluegrass band in Kansas sang it
