I haven't unlocked most of them yet I am a bad gamer. Trying to play Isaac while juggling all these other games. I really need to sit down and devote more time to this one specifically.

That is a good idea. Alternatively, you could drop everything and play the master game so that you can fully appreciate the references.

What is this game? Too lazy to look it up right now, so I'll just post this and then come back to this thread in a few days once Necro has taken 5 minutes out of his NetHack spamming to explain it to me.

The Binding of Isaac is a great game for kids where you play a naked abuse victim who narrowly escapes murder at the hand and knife of his crazy Christian mother, and is forced into battling (crying at) the denizens of his tortured imagination in the basement and caves below. It is composed almost entirely of references to other games--most especially the original Legend of Zelda and NetHack, actually, now that you mention it. It's really fun. You can get it on Steam for $5, which is a great bargain.

I highly recommend this game as well. It's one of the better indie games I've played all year (if not the best indie game I've played all year.) Robotron-esque, Zelda-esque, roguelike-esque, where can you really go wrong?
