Unhappy I Spent An Hour on Mysidia Tower and Then Died

...and yeah, there's really no point to this thread other than to whine about it. I'll tackle that dungeon again tonight. It was one of those giants, I can't remember which one... the third or fourth? He utterly smashed my face in. Any strats for dealing with those guys? I'm playing the GBA version.

Level a day keeps giants at bay.
Well, this game does not have levels, but try to increase stats more.

I re-did it and beat the tower this time. I just went overboard on Barrier and Shell and all of that stuff first when I fought that one guy. Good word he's hard.

I consider the Mysidia Tower a great incentive to actually invest time on leveling up your spells.

Heal will be a life-saver a lot of the time since the bastards will keep throwing status crap at you, and the elemental spells will easily dispose of the Gigases.
Also make sure you level up Fire, Ice and Aero (aka Poison) to around LV8 or something and everything will be much easier.
Oh, and by the way, I kinda like letting Richard focus on Spears, because there are some nice spears in the tower and Richard is a Dragoon anyway.

    EDIT:
Just discovered that you already beat the dungeon, so think of this as advice for next time.
