We all know that love is a trick perpetrated by Hallmark and American Greetings to make a ton 'o cash off of our need to feel like somewhere, out there, there's a connection for us. A person whose soul speaks to our soul. A person who completes the half of our missing whole.

I have a lot of opinions on relationships, mostly because I've been burned more times than I'd care to share. Even as jaded as I am, it gives me pause when I come into contact with a real live couple that just works. Two people who are in tune, two people who truly care for one another, and two people who are stronger when they're together.

It's even more special to be a part of that couple's history, no matter how small. Each couple nominated for this award got their start here at EoFF. So in a way, we all share the tiniest bit of their history. One day, after my third or fourth divorce, I can tell my step-children about watching real love spring out of two people, be nurtured and grow into something as beautiful as it is strong, as everlasting as it is steady.

So here's to all the couples nominated, all the couples who weren't, and to all the couples who will come to be because of EoFF. May your happiness be exceeded only by the jealousy of your friends and family.

I would just like to say I was utterly delighted that this Ciddie was chosen by the voting public. I feel it is about time that the best smiley that Eyes on FF has ever seen gets some recognition. I am not entirely sure what this "Stephen" is in reference to though.

Del Murder would be regular colbert. A timeless classic that has never faded with time, he doesn't have any bells, any whistles, but he does his job and he does it well.

Genius Lynx -
Genius Lynx is a very talented man when it comes to the arts of both the graphical and less graphical kind. As such, I can only assume he does this by having more than one set of arms.

I'm my own MILF -
This gentleman is video gaming mad, and as such I feel it is only suitable that he is represente by a video gaming colbert, the gorobert. He is also a sexual deviant who likes squid. The more arms, the better.

Pike -
Honestly, I think I could have switched her and I'm my own MILF around - they are both gaming mad! However, somebody has to be the token chick, and while old MILF could have performed this role admirably, I have decided to give the Mymelbert to Pike.
