But you’re not oldbies yet. No. Whenever someone brings up The Golden Years™ and you begin to say something, Raistlin comes along and tells you to smurf off. Pre-2000s or get outta here. You’re bitter, jaded, life is lackluster as you start having to take on responsibilities in meatspace. All you want to do is rekindle that childhood spark, but it’s out of reach.
Basically, you can’t win. Everybody hates you. But we still have a Ciddie for you. We wouldn’t want you to, y’know, feel left out or anything. We don’t hate you so much that we actively want you to die, or would attend your funeral purely to laugh and throw water bombs at your grieving family. We hate you in a kind of “you’re different and inferior so shine my boots” way.
Look on the bright side though. Being the best of the unloved is still better than nothing. You could be blackmage_nuke and win Most Underrated every time and, despite everybody recognising his rating being too damn low, never giving him the rating he deserves (nukie for Best Male or get the smurf out of my internet).
I’ll take my bitter, jaded, ineligible ass out of here and let you have your party. Even if you’re drinking cheap knockoff brand sodas and pretending it’s mixed.
