It's no news that Marshall Banana is well appreciated around the forums. For a long time she's been active and activating others along with her, with a fun personality and an air of infectious cheer. A somewhat less known fact, but one that we've been learning more and more ever since we first started working on the move to vBulletin 4, is that she is also fantastically productive, helpful and a quick worker.
If you're not on staff, chances are you don't know that she is behind the recent addition of Triple Triad. And the recent addition of working youtube tags. And lots of creative ideas. And style, after style... after style, all of them loved by those of us who aren't inexplicably attached to 90s web design.
Old Manus once called HTML5 the Duke Nukem Forever of Internet technology. If EoFF's fabled new frontsite isn't to become the Duke Nukem Forever of EoFF, I think I dare say that she had the biggest hand of all of us in that. She moved the content over almost single-handedly (though Jiro's help is not to be discounted). This is no small feat and we're all pretty much blown away by how quickly she did it, and without making any sort of fuss about the amount of work or how the rest of us barely lifted a finger to help.
She hasn't been on staff long, but to call her contribution so far impressive would be the understatement of the year. And this is all besides the fact that she is a great personality to have in staff (I know she certainly makes me want to do more). She also introduced me to boba tea when I visited. Perhaps her greatest achievement of all!
I hope you appreciate this award, because I can think of nobody more deserving. You're the best!
