Help with Save State

I found the save state that I need for where I was, just finished the floating continent scene and on my way to save shadow, but I hit quick save and then the game resets and loads a save from way back in the beginning of the game.

I attempted to load the save state in my VBA and it states can not load this save state and shows the code for ff6. I am going to load and selecting the .SGM file. am I doing this wrong?

Or does any one else have a known good file.

Thats the one that I attempted to load, however its not able to load. I open my rom, then Go to file-open- select your .SGM and then I get this... Cannot load save game for FF6ADVANCE BZ6E

Are you using version 1.7.2 of VBA?

yes, and i tried all the new beta versions and older versions as well. Sent you a PM...

It was the ROM i was using. I swapped to a different rom and sure enough every thing works. Thanks for the save state.
