Hmm, neither. You're not supposed to change the letter.
If you receive A-1 from someone, you change it to A-2 before you pass it on. If you Receive F-3 from someone, you change it to F-4 before you pass it on. That way A-1 through A-10 will all contain drawings and interpretations of the same chain in the end, same with F-1 through F-10.

I already started my line, so I think its safe to assume you can send what to draw to the person after you.

Yeah, you have to think up one phrase yourself to start up the game. That phrase will go through 9 other members and come back to you.

Yes, draw the phrase I just sent you and send it to the next person as B-2. Don't forget to start one yourself by sending a text phrase as C-1.

And what would I label my interpretation of the drawing you just sent me? And do I send that to YOU or the person below me? And do I send my drawing to YOU or the person below me? I don't know why I'm having such a hard time understanding this but there is a lot of trout clogging my brain up in real life recently.
