My first Final Fantasy remains my favourite: FFVII.
It was my introduction to big RPGs, and I was captivated from start to end. Sketchy translation aside, I loved the storytelling, characters and genuine sense of exploration and discovery offered by the game's world.

Wink Final Fantasy VII would be my choice.

With all the Final Fantasy games being unique in their own way, and always a challenge as well as great storyline, it is not easy to pick one, but if I was forced to, I would have to choose FFVII because of several reasons. First, it was the first of the Final Fantasy series that was created for PlayStation, as well as the first to be ported for Windows. In addition, it was the first of the series to have 3D characters, not to mention, it was a step-up in technology for the game, with more futuristic settings . To me, it was a cornerstone for bigger and better things to come. So my choice, Final Fantasy VII.

FFX voice acting and deep story made this the best. It felt like playing through a really epic movie.

1st: FFVI - The story is amazing (destruction of the world being only the midpoint of the game), and even with such a large cast of characters, all of them are unique and appealing in their own way. Also, the art for all of it, especially the monsters, is quite impressive considering the console it was on.

2nd: FFVIII - I know, the battle system was terrible and time consuming, but the characters were all intriguing. I'm a big sucker for the love story in that one.

3rd: FFVII - A great combination of plot surprises and amusing characters. I just loved the way the world was steadily revealed as the story progressed.

Honorable mention: FFT - Fascinating story, though the long, drawn out fights (with frequent resets upon failures) cause the plot to be revealed a bit too slowly to be especially dramatic.

    FF VIII
simply cause the story is so complex and creates so many mind perplexing theories after the ending, as well as all the characters becoming powerhouses if you know the system well.

My favourite is FF8-mostly because of the story which I found interesting but also because I liked the main character a lot. I also liked the gameplay and the gameworld especially Ultimecia's castle. I also liked the love story in the game. It was also the first Final Fantasy game I played.

    Boco Favorite game?

Final Fantasy X-2, because final fantasy 10 left me hanging-
Love story wise. I love the game; mostly because it was a follow up game, that was entirely different and more entertaining then the previous one.

Hard decision but I'll have to go with Final Fantasy X, because it was the first Final Fantasy I played.

    Moomba

XIII is prolly my fave, but more for loving the way they've reimagined things from the older games an pseudo-cameo form. If I had a second choice it would prolly be X (the only one to make me cry)

    Moogle Fav FF

Even though FFIV will always hold a special place in my heart (the first one I really played), but I just love FFVI for the rich story, the different points of view, the large cast and all the Espers. (And you get to play Mog!)
