Even Stevens had a pilot in 1997. Nobody cared about it. Then Reed dies and, oop!, one year later Even Stevens is released to massive praise. And, it doesn't feature alcohol and is called Even Stevens, as in "Nobody liked us Reed, but now you're dead and we're popular so I guess it's even stevens."
