超連射68K is an awesome Japanese vertical shooter. If you like Raiden, Aero Fighters (Sonic Wings), 1945, etc., 超連射68K will probably be one of the best games you'll play in the genre.

I've heard a report of someone else claiming that their anti-virus software labels it as a virus. While I can guarantee that it isn't a virus, if you feel more comfortable, here is an alternate link.

the audio is chopped beyond recognition while im playing it

Mine gets a little bit-choppy at the beginning, but it resolves itself extremely quickly. I've heard you may be able to fix the audio issues by changing it's compatibility to Windows 98. (right click > properties, on the application)

it's a lot of fun but i want to hook my controller up to it somehow, is there a way?

Yes. It recognized my PS2 controller immediately.

Its 100x better with a gamepad. I'd really like to get a Neo-Geo style arcade stick. That would be the best.

i got to the second boss. the sound is still a little choppy but its ok. its just too bad because the music si good.

i guess you want the shot power up as soon as you can to make things easy for yourself. after that shield.
