Out of the FF's I've played I've only disliked two of them (hated one of those two with a passion).
I cannot think of any good point to make about FFXIII other than "the graphics were good!" which is a given, so I'll forcus on my old enemy - FFVIII.

I found the card game, Triple Triad, to be one of them most addictive and enjoyable minigames I've played in ANY game. I know it's a kind of love it or hate it game, but I for one loved it.
I also really liked the story up until the end of Disk One. I thought the character development (and characters in general) was awful, but the story, climaxing with the assasination attempt on Edea was excellent. Shame it went downhill from there.
