You should - go listen to Arular and Kala. Not so much Maya though, that was a bit messy and below par.
Anyway, M.I.A. is a smart lady. She most likely did it since she knew it would become this ridiculously big deal, and it's thus a comment on America's tendency of insane sensitivity to pretty much everything. That, and she got a whole lot of media coverage.
Just get over it and use your energy on something worthwhile will ya.
