Red Exclamation Mark Re-Install my want to finish XIII!

    Two reasons for this thread;

[1] I need to complete XIII so then I can buy XIII-2
[2] The game laughs at me when I walk by

How did you guys manage to finish this, it's a bit annoying near the end....

I WANT TO PLAY XIII-2. Should I just buy it?

    - By the way I'm at a bahamut where you fight on highway, after some lame weak until you critical then gets insane boss thingy. Is it far or close to the end?
Creativity is certainly about not being constrained by rules or accepting the restrictions that society places on us. Of course the more people break the rules, the more likely they are to be perceived as ‘mentally ill’

You should just tell us which chapter you're in, instead of some fuzzy description of some fight somewhere.

The chapters are a very clear indication on where you are in the story.

To answer your question though: Yes, it is far or close to the end.

Not sure where it is your describing tbh, might be an idea as Mirage said to post which chapter your on, so to playing XIII-2 without finishing XIII I would strongly advise against doing so.

You just have to throw yourself in there and finish it. YOU CAN DO IT.

Hey sorry I think chapter 11. I think I have time to squeeze in some play time this weekend so I shall give it a shot...

There are 13 chapters in total, you're probably not too far from the end. At least not if you skip the optional battle challenges (I refuse to call them side quests, they're not complex enough for that).

Dude you just gotta do it. It's tedious, it's repetitive, it's a seemingly never-ending taunting experience, you just have to go through it. I don't know if playing FFXIII-2 is worth it, though. You could be playing fun RPGs instead?

    (I liked XIII)

    FF13 is a fun rpg.

It's a terribly written rpg though, but if you're into good stories, you shouldn't be playing any recent japanese game.

you should have just gotten the lionheart, and so you should upgrade it all the way and kick everything's ass. you're very close to the end, unless you want to grind some more, in which case there will still be a little chance for it before the end.

i think he just fought proud clod at the end of the broken highway.

[3] the final dungeon is actually pretty cool considering how boring eden is in terms of layout.
