So... my PS3 broke down... I won't be playing anytime soon. I still think that the undead asylum is the hardest part of the game, you are like a newborn baby thrown into the wild there.. After you have passed that place you have shops, blacksmiths, etc. everything to improve.

Also, blackorb... You CAN summon massive pillars of flame around you. Sure, its no drawn out meteor but its still awesome!
And make a new character, you'll beat the asylum in a matter of minutes at most.Its only brutal the first time.

Black Orb, that's only one ending to his quest. It CAN go on for longer if you do it right ^^

ALSO, hooked on DMC 3 now. HATED this game as a kid, but Dark Souls has given me a whole new appreciation for it and I'm having such a frickin' blast playing it. I don't even get bothered when I get my ass kicked anymore~

DID HE MEAN NOTHING TO YOU? Poor Knight Solaire...

Love his common ending though. Such tragic. He might be my favorite NPC of all time. He shows bravery, companionship, dedication, even love! (SPOILER)And then sinks in his own desperation and depression.

It's also the only NPC we catch on the moment he goes Hollow AND hostile. Most of them aren't able to speak, but Solaire; he's one tough sun-warrior. Makes him all the more memorable.

And if you manage to save him... he's the only NPC who not only doesn't screw you over, but actually has a semi-happy ending.
