My PC can't run Dark Souls, and I no longer have my 360... Dark souls hasn't been played by me since like... god I don't even remember the last time I was rocking in PVP
I still remember my setup though.... kind of
Balder Swag Sword
Marukama (The 2-handed curved blade)
(No shield? NO OF COURSE NOT!)
Some kind of light armor for the torso...
Some kind of medium armor for the legs/gloves
Some kind of light hood
RoFaP, and something else... I know I stopped using the dark wood ring after a while...

BUT, regardless, I remember getting compliments for my fighting even in my first duel. I actually had mass winning streaks, and I hosted in the forest a lot to give the invaders a break from the 3v1 matches.

I also miss my Artorias sword character, I even kicked bum with her in PvP, though not nearly as much.
She was a blast in PvE though, and very well rounded. I was nearing the end of the game with her too
