I was in the process of running a sorcerer build, myself. Although, it was my first playthrough, so I was conforming pretty hard to some newbie standards haha. Elite Knight Armour, Claymore - to be upgraded to Lightning, and Grass Crest Shield. I kept other weapons on standby for different things*, but I can't remember examples. Strength and Dexterity were 16, and Endurance, Vitality and Intelligence were in the 20s. I was raising the latter three at the same rate. I love Sorceries and Pyromancies. Haven't used any Miracles yet, so I think my next playthrough will be a Priest style character.

*This is actually something about Dark Souls that stood out for me. In most RPGs, I don't carry around a selection of specialised weapons. I carry one general-use weapon and a ranged weapon. In Dark Souls, however, I quickly came to appreciate the benefits of specialisation.
