We all have favorite movies, but what about favorite movie series?
For me there is one true trilogy and that trilogy is Back to the Future.

If we're talking about trilogies then I would have to go with The Lord of the Rings closely followed by the original Star Wars trilogy.
Back to the Future would be in my top five though!
The great movie trilogies are the Dollars trilogy, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones (thankfully they never made a fourth one!) and Lord of the Rings.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
The Indiana Jones movies and original Star Wars trilogy will always be close to my heart. I know I am giving a boring answer, but I can't argue with the classics.
I really, really, really, hate Star Wars.
Does two movies count as a series? If so, Alien and Aliens!
You must be mistaken. There are only two Alien movies.
I like the way you think.
(SPOILER)Twilight.
It's simple really...Batman.
There are only three Indiana Jones movies.
There are only three Star Wars movies.
There are only two Alien movies.
There was only one TMNT movie.
...I am highly unsure of what to do with Bond, but his track record is better than most I suppose.
Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Back to the Future, Die Hard (one of the few with 4 good movies), Lord of the Rings.
Proud to be the Unofficial Secret Illegal Enforcer of Eyes on Final Fantasy!
When I grow up, I want to go toBovineTrump University! - Ralph Wiggum
back to the future. 3 great movies.
Die hard is also a fun blow things up movie series.
underworld...less likeable.
Why not SW and LOTR? I cannot sit through ROTJ without screaming
for LOTR - I tried to re-watch it and skipped 100% of the frodo/sam scenes. For a movie WHERE THAT IS THE WHOLE BLOODY POINT I think that makes the entire trilogy a big epic fail.
I refuse to change my opinion. I also didn't read the books. Now THAT's something I want to rant about.
so yeah. BTTF <3
