Wow, that's crazy. I guess if you put out a massive price drop it's bound to do well, though... is that what they did? And I wonder how well the 3DS is selling globally. Japan is becoming more and more niche these days so I imagine that selling so well in Japan is not a guarantee that it'll be considered a success overall.
