After three hours, edczxcvbnm finally got the Enemy Away materia he wanted.
The randomness of the Chocobo racing to win items is still bull**** after all these years.

Why not just destroy enemies instead of avoiding them like a little bitch?![]()
Well that does explain it then. Congrats, I suppose. The items from Chocobo Racing always seemed way too smurfing hard and not worth the effort.
Did he remember to keep a battery?![]()
I always found I got everything I ever needed out of the Chocobo races in the process of breeding chocobos.

Unless an item eliminates encounters entirely, I never notice a difference. I don't even notice much of an increase with Enemy Lure :/
His own standards? That's not really SCIENTIFICALLY ACCURATE.
I won't smurf with him then![]()
If I don't use the battery then I don't get all the treasure in the game so that isn't perfect and if you use the battery then you don't have a pointless item in your inventory so that isn't perfect either. The standards by which people measure a perfect file is completely arbitrary and imperfect anyway so why bother with those?
And SwordFox totally got it right. When I want to play through the story and crap, the less random battles the better. Every game should have enemy away materia!
....it is almost like true perfection in all things is un-obtainable.
