I have been considering the thoughts of Laddy and can only assume that the American government decided to convince Americans (and the rest of the world) that the states beginning with vowels really, really suck. They did this so nobody would ever attempt to travel to a non-existant state.

I notice your lack of proof. Also, I notice that you refer to Arizona as a "Hell Hole", further adding to my belief that they convince people to never want to go to places they can not reach (they can't reach them because they're not real, much like Hogwarts - don't run into walls in train stations).
