Default DLC boss Amodar has a "Raging Demon" attack

    Raging Demon - YouTube

This is Amodar performing his Iron Bear Claw Feral Link attack on Serah, and as you can see, it resembles the Shun Goku Satsu, or Raging Demon, which is the signature super combo of Akuma in the Street Fighter series.

Final Fantasy character Serah Farron has an attack that resembles Ryu's (Street fighter) "Hadouken" attack.

Ruin. It is a blue-white ball of something, and it's moving towards the enemy.

Look up any fight that requires Serah to be a Commando and you'll undoubtedly find her using Ruin. I think the point Mirage was making is that almost all attacks you can make in any game these days are probably going to be similar to something that has been used before. It's like the colour of one's hair - there are only so many basic colours to work with. I could probably come up with some weird attack like having a really long tongue that you hit people with and someone can point out another character in another game that has already done it.

    I see, okay...

And as another nod to Street Fighter, both Serah Farron and Chun-Li are voiced by Laura Bailey in English, and they also sound very much alike. If you don't believe me, then just play as Chun-Li in (Super) Street Fighter IV, (Ultimate) Marvel vs Capcom 3, or Street Fighter X Tekken with the voices set to English, and then play Final Fantasy XIII-2 again, and you'll certainly hear the similarities in their voices.

From the shortened version of the title I sa 'DLC boss Amadar has a "Raging"'

It was disappointing to find out that the conclusion to that sentence wasn't Boner.

A "kara cancel," or "empty cancel," is when you cancel an attack into another without the first attack hitting the opponent. From what I know, the only two times that the Raging Demon could be used in a combo was in Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact and 3rd Strike, and the only attack that could combo into a Raging Demon was the far roundhouse kick, which would put the opponent into a "turned-around state," in which the opponent is spun around 180 degrees, facing away from the player's character.

I'm not exactly sure if Amodar can kara cancel into his Raging Demon.
