Gotta Go Fast: Sonic Speed Challenge!

Okay guys, I have an idea. We currently have a Sonic 2 challenge going on where you see how far you can get before you get a Game Over. Here's a challenge that focuses on something else that Sonic is all about: speed!

Each week I'll post a zone and act from one of the "original" Sonic games (anything between Sonic 1 and Sonic 3&K). Your challenge? To get through said act as fast as you possibly can and then post a screenshot of your results! If we get enough participation, I'll see about setting up a points system and I'll keep track as we go along, so we can see who the fastest is!

Rules: Only screenshots (or pictures, if you're playing on a console) will be accepted as final scores. You can post as many screenshots as you like; your fastest time will be accepted as your final time.

Cool. I am actually hoping someone does better. I might give it another go myself on Thursday, since I won't have time tomorrow.

My Sonic skills suck worse than I thought. That's what I get for being a Nintendo boy growing up. I'm in the 40's so nowhere near Sephex. I'm struggling on the other challenge as well. I've only got to the aquatic ruin zone. I'm gonna give both challenges another go tonight and post some pictures.
