So it appears that Squenix has reached a new level of bureaucracy concerning Versus XIII. Now we're getting updates on when we can expect more updates. Nomura's comment about getting this info soon, can either mean an E3 reveal, or more likely a Tokyo Game Show (TGS) reveal, or even possibly a future undisclosed Square Enix event, which is also not far fetched as the series turns 25 this year.

I noticed IGN also doing this - a news article to announce they're going to release a news article. But yeah, this is terrible. It doesn't get anyone excited, it's making people impatient. We know there's info there that they are going to release, in fact they'd be stupid if they didn't release anything this year, so just get on with it.
