Back to The Feud: Part III (Sign-ups and discussions)

It's spring time at EoFF, and that means we have plenty of events and games going on. Here is a popular forum game I have introduced a couple years ago based on the tv show by the name of the Family Feud. If you are familiar with the show, you will probably understand how this game works. I will further explain the rules in the official game thread when that starts on April 2.

Have you answered the survey I have sent out this month? If you have not, you still have a week remaining to send in your answers. Anyway, here's what I'm looking for before we can start the game. I am looking for four teams of five players each, but before we have teams, I would need players. That's where this thread comes in handy. If you want to play the Feud, sign up! This time around by popular demand, I'm going to allow everyone up to 24 hours to give an answer rather than the 12 hours we have done in the past two games. If you don't answer, that means a strike.

Once all 20 spots are filled, I will assign four random players the role of team captains and they can choose their teams from the players left. It would be first come, first choose, so the remaining players left will fill out the fourth and last team.

Edit: Okay, I guess I'll make another rule. If you don't want to be randomly assigned to be team captain, make such a request and I'll put you aside when assigning captains.

Edit2: Because Jiro already seems ready to lead a team, and a few would only play on his team, I'm going to assign him as captain of one of the teams. The next three will be assigned randomly after the roster is complete.

I'm glad you brought this up, so I made a new rule regarding this. Don't worry, I won't name you captain when I'm going to assign roles.

K, I'll bite. 24 hours sounds good...means I can actually contribute in between my hectic thesis schedule. However, I'd prefer not to be team captain again.

This is turning out to look nice with the current players. This could potentially turn out to be awesome if more sign up soon. I'm hoping we can fill out the roster before April arrives. If not, I'll delay the start of the game by a day or two, depending on how many spaces are remaining. I'll start bothering people to sign up in a couple days.
