    Default Installing Windows 7 on Netbook through USB? (Netbook has no OS)

    I bought a used netbook! It's a nice litle netbook. I've forgotten exactly what kind it is, but it's an EeePC and says "ASUS" on it! But the problem is, the person who sold it to me completely wiped his hard drive, OS included. He was nice enough to include the installation CD, but the netbook has no CD drive. ;-;

    I'm extremely bad with computers, but I was hoping to possibly install Windows 7 on my little netbook! Is that possible with a USB flash drive?

    Depends on how big the HDD in the netbook is. Don't try installing it on something with less than 20 GB space.

    Supposedly you can install win7 from usb stick, but I was not able to successfully complete it. If you know anyone with an external usb cd drive, that would be your easiest avenue

    Ended up getting an external drive to use the disc with. Still, thanks for the input! ^_^
