A theme song for the game has already been made. It's called Somnus and it's sang by Andrea Hopkins. You can even look it up on YouTube if you want to. Whether or not that will be the official theme remains to be seen I guess, since the last few FFs have had multiple vocal themes.

Personally, if it were announced that Lady Gaga were doing the official theme song for this game I'd be thrilled, but that's because I'm both an unabashed FF fan and Gaga fan, I guess. I actually think she'd be capable of doing a fantastic theme song for an FF game. Certainly better than the chick who sang Kiss Me Goodbye or New World at least.
