Let's have an eye color thread.(since there was a glasses thread) Mainly cause I just took a good picture of mine. LET'S ADD A POLL!

Mine are hazel. Or what they call hazel I guess. What is Hazel? Is it just colors they have no other way of describing? Green and Brown, mine are Green and brown.



Did you know purple eyes actually do exist but are extremely rare? I want purple eyes. What color are your eyes? Post a picture if you're particularly proud of your eye color! No colored contacts, cheaters.

Mine are green, though you can probably barely see on this picture. I'm a lousy photographer and I only have my phone to make my pictures with.



Anyway, green is supposedly rare, and yet a lot of people in my country have green eyes. Most also have the same hair color. So for Polish standarts, I'm pretty much the average

And I have heard about violet eyes. Elizabeth Taylor has them. They're not really purple, more like a very deep blue. Still look pretty amazing, though.

My eyes are variable. Some times they are more hazel than green. Some times they're more green than hazel.

My dad is a similar case. His eyes are gray, and yet, depending on what he wears or where he is, they may just as well look blue or green.

Mine are blue which is pretty common.

Totally took a picture. Sometimes, that non-green part near the center is actually the same color as around the edges, giving me greener eyes. It also depends a bit on the lighting. They look less green with a strong camera flash 2 inches away. I guess that strobe-like effect from anti red-eye flashes also is the cause of the irregularity of my pupils.
