Buggy Keyboard Problem

Ok, so this morning I woke up to find my computer had turned itself off... I was a little concerned and I turned the PC on, then my PC turned itself off, I repeated this and managed to get it to finish booting up, then when I tried to google "my pc keeps turning itself off" it wrote out random letters, I first thought I had some virus, so I went downstairs with the intention of using the PC to look up my problem, but then I thought I might as well check to see if the keyboard from downstairs works on my PC... which it did, my PC now no longer turns itself off and I can type out this post without worrying about its functionality.

Whats the problem with my old keyboard?!?

Side note, I use Win7 and have not installed any new programs for the last 5 days and the keyboard I am using is a USB keyboard.

EDIT: nvm, after opening up the keyboard I saw that it was wet on the inside, hell if I know how it happened, though it is stormy weather outside and I sleep with my windows open (with my keyboard on the table beside the window). Meh.
