Most Beautiful Location?

I know, such a noobie topic, but I was playing through the game for the first time in a long time, and just realized how beautiful the places you visit really are.

I was especially blinded by Dollet's outstanding beauty.

I love fisherman horizon a lot the atmosphere is so relaxing. I love how every location and side areas are unique.

Esthar looks stunning, though I like the quiet beauty of Winhill as well.

I'd also have to go with Esthar. I was amazed at the entire atmosphere when first arriving there. I thought Deling City was pretty cool, too.

Winhill is nice and peaceful, but I have a thing for coastal towns. Balamb is probably more my style, but Dollet and even Fisherman's Horizon are pretty sweet too.

The Great Salt Lake is pretty great too

You're correct, that's right next to the Great Salt Lake. And man, look at that sky. glorious.

I want to say Winhill too. The thing about FFVIII is that almost every location is somewhere I'd like to be. Not a lot of fantasy/sci-fi weirdness - just half a dozen really pretty, down-to-earth cities and towns that look totally livable:

Balamb Garden (minus the you know what)
Balamb Town
Dollet
Timber
Winhill
Deling City

Definitely Balamb. It is so beautiful & peaceful. I loved pretty mucch all the locations though.

I absolutely loved Winhill. Most of that probably has to do with the Laguna story that's being played out, but I just like the peaceful, laid-back atmosphere while you are in that town. I also really liked Timber a lot for some reason. Not really sure why. Out of all the locations though, the one place I wish I could see in real life is Esthar
