That's not what I meant with BC. I meant with the hardware not the software. Aka if you have anything physically from the previous gen, you can't use it on the new gen. So yah kthx

The UMD format was a *terrible* idea and is better left a distant memory. I sold all of my UMDs and will most likely rebuy a lot of them as downloads whenever I feel the itch to play them again.

Vita's better off without a troutty UMD drive. The fewer moving parts, the better. Better for battery life and better for the life of the system.
