Really? WAIT What's EU3?
Creativity is certainly about not being constrained by rules or accepting the restrictions that society places on us. Of course the more people break the rules, the more likely they are to be perceived as ‘mentally ill’.

Europa Universalis 3. It's a game wherein you stare at a map and at little tiny armies.
fire_of_avalon, I am having a hard time believing you have a great deal of clothes. This can be remedied, I imagine, by you taking shots of you dressed up in various outfits. Yes, I think that would work quite well. I will send you my Mognet address.
I used to hoard images. I had an entire drive dedicated to every graphic I ever encountered. I sorted them via date, subject matter, and how they related to me (or not, and mostly not). I eventually realized how useless the database was beyond garnering oldbie respect/being especially creepy, and deleted the entire thing. How my heart ached when I saw how much space I suddenly had and could fill up with pornography like a normal person. But really, I never referenced my /bin for my own projects, never could share it because who cared, and was extraordinarily impressed how I obsessed with keeping such an archive. I found losing it all very liberating. I think if you are a grown adult, or perhaps a young person in college, you should experiment with things outside your comfort zone and see how much of your discomfort is based upon inexperience. Everyone can have a crutch and not be criticized, but try a day/week/month without and see what happens. It would be good for you, I promise.
I hoard retro gaming magazines. That way if anyone asks me my opinion on an old game... I can reply with a review written by some CG journalist twenty years ago... and pass their observations off as my own. I am quite well revered amongst my gaming friends.
I only shop for clothes about once a year. Though I still end up wearing my old stuff most of the time.
